Whitetails

Our whitetail are native Texas Hill Country deer that have been managed. There has been no introduction of privately raised or genetically engineered deer.

As part of management, we determine the number of each class of deer to be taken each year in the spring.

​

We consider a mature buck to be 4.5 years and over.

​

We consider a "cull" buck to be one at least 2.5 years old and missing (not broken) brow tines or a spike fork, etc. It is always the guides call.
